Ralph Taylor

Ralph Taylor, 74, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home. Ralph was born January 20, 1947 in Bassett to the late Edd and Mary Lou Estes Taylor. Ralph was a funeral attendant at Wright Funeral Service and previously, Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home. Ralph was a member and deacon at One Accord Baptist Church.

Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lundy Taylor; daughters, Tilwanza Taylor and Vicky Penn; sister, Mary Louise Edmonds, brothers, Edd Taylor, Jr. and Lynwood Taylor

Ralph is survived by his children, Reva Wainwright (Damian), Natasha Taylor-Carolina, Terica Turner Chase, Gail Jones (Larry), Ralph Taylor (Alicia), and Warren Norman; step children, Kay Minnick and Bobby Minnick; sisters, Cornelia Hairston, Rosa Lee Webb, Evelyn Martin, Ann Joan Moore, and Gwendolyn Everett; brothers, Edd Lee Taylor, Lewis Taylor, Wilbur Taylor; 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; special friend, Elizabeth “Libby” Manns, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service.
