Anna Christine Cook

Anna Christine Cook, 82, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Sovah Health - Martinsville Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1938, in Franklin County to the late Will Mose and Irene Cooke. She was a faithful member of the Snow Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Lee Wade High School and retired from Tultex of Martinsville after 29 years of service. Her legacy of helping others will be remembered by all of her friends and family especially her nieces and nephews. Her proudest family moments were traveling and attending university orientations with her two nieces and five nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Elaine Cooke and Connie Cooke Jones.

She is survived by two siblings: Dorothy Kidd (Randolph), Will Mose Cook, III (Katie); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Public viewing will be held at Wright’s Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 4pm – 8pm. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 11:30 AM., at Snow Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lewis Walton officiating.
