Stephen Carroll Short, 71, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Gardener. He was predeceased by his parents, George “Ed” and Rosa Mae Short.
Surviving family includes his son Kevin Short and wife, Crystal; daughter, Wendy Meador and husband, Donnie; grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Ashley, and Waylon; siblings, Bonnie Wheatley and Carlton Short and wife, Linda, and special companion, Baby Girl.
A memorial service is planned for a later date. Please consider contributions to a local animal care shelter.
