Tony Lee Millner, Jr.

Tony Lee Millner Jr., 80, of Martinsville, Va., transitioned on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at his home. He was born in Martinsville, Va., on December 27, 1940, a son of the late Tony and Mira Witcher Millner Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death one daughter, Sabrena Millner and two brothers, Harry and James Millner.

He was a member of Shiloh Way of the Cross, the Brotherhood and served as the NAACP political liason for the church. He was retired from Dupont and was the owner of Millner Professional Bail Bonding.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mersdesea Shelton-Millner of the home; two daughters, Toronia Millner, of Martinsville, Va., and Felecia Millner of Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister, Judy Millner of Martinsville, Va.; nine grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Carver Memorial Gardens with Bishop Earley Dillard, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 5 until 7 p.m.

All services will be held in accordance with CDC guidelines which includes facial coverings and social distancing.
