David A. Amos

David A. Amos, 54, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 4, 2019.  He was preceded by his father, Sherman L. Amos.
David was employed along with his brothers at Precision Steel Manufacturing Corporation.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Thomas Amos; sons, Brandon, Chad and Chase Amos; mother, Geneva Amos; brothers, Mike (Melinda) Amos, Jeff (Vicki) Amos; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William "Bill" and Candyth Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Green Ridge Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Frank Ellington.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.  366-0707
