Fred A. Brumfield, Jr., 88, of Salem, Virginia, passed away on April 15, 2021. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and retired after a long career at General Electric. He was an avid racing fan and lover of muscle cars.
He is survived by his only son, Dana Brumfield, his grandchildren, Tyler and Haley Brumfield and great-grandson, Charlie Brumfield. He was close with his sister, Helen McDaniel and her husband, Alfred; sister-in-law, Katie Brumfield, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
