Ryland Horne

Ryland Horne, 75, of Troutville went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 16, 2019  He was preceded by his parents, Norman and Julia Hale Horne, sister, Dreama, brother, Harlan and grandson, Jacob.
 
Ryland was a wonderful daddy, brother and friend.  Among his many loves, were his children, grandchildren, drag racing, good times at the creek and working on his junk.  He will be missed by all.
 
Surviving are his daughter, Nikki Graham; son, Norman Ryland "Buck"
Horne, Jr. (Shannon); grandchildren, Ian Graham, Faira and Ava Horne; brothers, Maynard (Georgia) Horne, Sheldon (Mary) Horne, Chipper (Pat) Horne; sisters, Doreen Cundiff and Joyce Goad; numerous nieces and nephews; and  a very special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Kenneth Yearout.
 
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at Catawba Valley Baptist Church by the Rev. Aaron Mansfield.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.
