Benny Lane Feury

Benny Lane Feury, October 31,1959, 61 of Vinton, Va.  went peacefully to be with the Lord on 6/16/2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents Billie Henry Feury , Anna Lee Spence Feury, sister Melinda Feury, nephew Jason Martin, and BooBoo. He is survived by his son Jesse Ray Feury, and Sarah Lejune and granddaughter Rachel Feury of Monroe, NC. Sister, Etta Smith and husband, Jon of Salem, Va.; Gearold Feury and wife, Jamie of Ridgeway; Niece Anna Feury Leffell, nephew Bradley Feury and nephew Christian Tolbert; friend Penny Gardner of Salem, Va; Martha Guthrie and husband, Jimmy of Daleville, Va.; Brother, Ronnie Feury and wife, Janie of Salem, Va., Randy Feury and wife, Debbie of Vinton, Va.
He worked at Wilson Trucking Company, Joe Bandy & Son, and then, for a more rewarding career, for the love of the land, as a cattle farmer. He never met a stranger he didn’t know and had a sense of humor you would never forget. He loved traveling in his RV. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, mechanic (that could fix anything), and a man who loved his family dearly. His son would like to extend a special thank you to Stewartsville EMS, and Roanoke Memorial palliative care unit. 
A private viewing for the family will be held.  A funeral service will be held at Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Salem at  11 am on 6/21/21 by Bradley Feury. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Livestrong on behalf of Benny Feury.
