Alice Faye Schilling Duff

Alice Faye Schilling Duff, 57, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 23, 2019 after a long illness.  She was preceded by her parents, Norman, Sr. and Maxine Duncan Schilling.

Alice was employed by Long John Silvers for 22 years, and for 15 years with Rowe Furniture.

Surviving are her children, Amber Woody (Denver), Daniel Duff (Mandy); grandchildren, Cloe, Makayla, Ariana, Mason, Zakry and Nevaeh; sisters, Pat Farris, Diane Williams, and Mary Ann Reynolds (Jason); Brother, Norman Schilling, Jr. (Debra); fiance, David Rogers; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the nursing staff on 9 South, the Intensive Care Unit, for their exceptional care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Heart or Lung Association.

There will be a celebration of Alice's life at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the home.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
