Esther Roadcap Clark

May 15, 1931 - October 9, 2021

Esther Roadcap Clark, 90, of Bassett passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on May 15, 1931 to the late Charles Roadcap and the late Virginia Turner Roadcap. She was also preceded in death by husband, James W. Clark; daughters, Linda Cooper and Judy Stone; one grandson, Timothy J. Clark, Jr.; one brother; four sisters.
Esther was a member of Spring Street Baptist Church for 62 years, where she was a Sunday school teacher, sang in the Choir, loved music and loved her grandchildren.  She left Tultex with 36 years of service.
Esther is survived by her daughter, Sandy Clark Woodall; son, Timothy J. Clark, Sr. (Cynthia); grandchildren, Brady Cooper, Kevin Cooper, Sharon Clark, Benjamin Clark, David Clark, Jacob Woodall, and Jaime Woodall Wade; great grandchildren, Eliza Craig, Olivia Cooper, Buxton Wade, Leah Clark, and Walker Clark; many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Timothy J. Clark, Sr. speaking.  Burial is to follow the service.
