John Tucker Jamison

John Tucker Jamison, 68, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at his residence. He was born December 3, 1953 in Lynchburg, to the late John Luther Jamison and Willie Irene Jones Jamison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Lou Jamison.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and attended Divine Faith Tabernacle. He had been an automobile mechanic for 35 plus years.

John is survived by his loving wife, Felicia Wells; daughters, Chevon Hairston, Monique Wells, Domica Ortiz, and Rebecca Jamison; sisters, Shirley Watkins, Lilly Feggans and Loretta Gravely (Steve); and grandchildren, Journi Wells, Justyn Wells, Saharie Hairston, and Elijah Ortiz.

The funeral will be Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:30 PM at Faith Tabernacle, Wells Hollow Road, Bassett, with Elder Sherman Manns officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be private.
