McKenzie Lynn Coffey

McKenzie Lynn Coffey, 19, of Gladstone, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Born in Lynchburg, Va., on February 16, 2002, she was a daughter of Jennifer McCormick Coffey and William Coffey.
She was a 2020 graduate of Appomattox County High School and loved her job as a teller with Farmers Bank of Appomattox. She was a person that never met a stranger.
McKenzie was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and granddaughter. In addition to her parents survived by her son, Weston Cashwell; three sisters, Kelsey Coffey, Summer Bryant (Joshua), and Kameron Coffey; two aunts who were more like sisters, Lisa Gunter and Shannon Gunter; two nieces, Rileigh and Alayna; a nephew, Taylor Mayberry; maternal grandparents, Peggy and Billy Gunter; and numerous friends and family.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Waylon Coffey.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Harold Powers and Rev. Scott Varney. The committal service will follow at 2:30 p.m., in Maple Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Wingina.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6 until 8 p.m. and other times at the home of her grandparents, Peggy and Billy Gunter.
