Paul Bradley Jones

June 25, 1946 - October 17, 2021

Paul Bradley Jones, 75, of Collinsville, passed away on Sunday October 17, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 25, 1946, to the late Thaddeus Eugene Jones and Bessie Mason Jones. He is also preceded in death by sister, Georgia Kasey.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon Jones; daughters, Angela Jones Bryant (Logan) and Jill Jones Hypes (Joshua); two special grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Bryant; brother, David E. Jones of Moseley, Va and his two feline napping companions, Tootsie and Oreo.

Paul graduated from Fieldale High School and Patrick and Henry Community College. After high school, he proudly served four years in the United States Air Force as an Electrical Power Production Specialist in Bedford, Va and Berlin, Germany. Later, he started Jones Electric Company, of which he was the sole owner and operator for nearly 50 years. For a number of years he served as a volunteer firefighter for the Collinsville Fire Department. He was a hard worker his entire life, having learned the value of hard work at a young age. He was known as Mr. Fix-It to his family. Paul was an avid reader, loved watching NASCAR races and classic black and white films, and loved going to flea markets. He will leave a legacy of hard work, honesty, and dedication to his family.

A graveside service will be held at Minnie's Chapel Wesleyan Church in Stuart, Va on Friday October 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gary Combs officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad or the Martinsville-Henry County ASPCA.
