Phyllis Anne Jennings Caviness

Phyllis Ann Jennings Caviness, 80, of Collinsville, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Carroll County on April 9, 1941, to the late Aubrey Jennings and Nina Marshall Jennings.

She graduated from Radford University; she had been a teacher in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, and later was employed by Sara Lee. She loved her grandkids, the mountains, and traveling.

Ms. Caviness is survived by her daughter, Cindy Neely (Steve); son, Ronnie Caviness; sisters, Susan Jennings and Sandra Jennings; granddaughter, Traci Stanley; and great-grandchildren, Will and Cole Stanley.

The graveside service will be Friday, November 5, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Roselawn Burial Park.
