Obituary for Lemley Leon Turner
Lemley Leon Turner, 82, of Collinsville, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born September 15, 1939 in Fieldale, Virginia, to the late Wilbur J. and Winnie Aldean Hall Turner. He was also predeceased by a brother, Ralph Turner.

Leon was of the Methodist faith, and had worked as a carpenter for over 40 years for Nationwide Homes, Raven Boats, and American Furniture.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen Mahaffey Turner; daughters, Crystal Turner and Jennifer Hart (Brent); granddaughter, Ava Hart; sisters, Verona Martin and Viola Turner; and brother, Ronnie Turner.

The graveside service will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Clyde Hylton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leon may be made to the American Cancer Society or the SPCA.
