Margaret "Margie" Bowles Dickson

Margaret “Margie” Bowles Dickson, 76, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Bertha Bowles; and sisters, Jean Fordyce (and husband Ken) and Mary Ann McCullough. She worked in the banking industry, retiring from BB&T, and she was a faithful member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Margie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Fred G. Dickson; children, R.G. Markham (Robin), Carole Lynn Dickson, Kathryn Denise Crawford (Jeff), and Troy Eugene Dickson; grandchildren, Travis (Ashley), Wesley, Cary, Austin, and Kaitlyn; nephews, Daniel Fordyce, Kenny Fordyce, Joe McCullough, and John McCollough; and many other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12pm at Simpson Funeral Home (Peters Creek) on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. The family will receive friends beforehand from 10:30am – 12:00pm. The Service will be officiated by Pastors, Wayne Wyatt and Earl Clements; music by James Rucker.
