Bruce Clifton Joyce

Bruce C. Joyce, 78, of Bassett, passed away on November 5, 2021.  He was born in Patrick County on November 13, 1942 to the late Bruce Marvin Joyce and the late Eva Mae Joyce.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Cundiff and his pet companion, Benji.
He was a lifelong and well known rock, brick and block mason as well as a building contractor.  He was of the Baptist faith. 
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda A. Joyce; daughter, Alicia M. Joyce; his three sisters, Brenda (Jimmie), Bonnie (David) and Linda (James); numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop Dwayne Pruitt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ferris Family Cemetery.
