Terri Lynn (Ehrlichman) Palmer

June 11, 1964 - November 6, 2021

Terri Lynn Palmer, 67, of Salem, VA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Terri was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 11, 1954. She spent her childhood in Hialeah, FL where she made many lifelong friends. Terri raised her babies in Hobe Sound, FL where she was a homemaker. She later moved with her family to Salem, VA, and worked hard to put herself through nursing school to become an LPN. After retiring from Lewis Gale Clinic, Terri enjoyed traveling with her husband, spoiling their St. Bernard, Katie, and binge-watching their favorite TV shows.

All Terri wanted to be in life was a mom to her girls and a grandma to her grandkids. She was always there for her family and knew how to make things better whether it was fixing the best sandwich or mending a broken heart. Terri enjoyed the simple things in life like cutting the grass, sitting by her creek, and being with her family. She was an animal lover with a kind and gentle heart. Terri was raised to do the right thing and expected others to do the same.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Ehrlichman; a daughter, Sarah Beth Crawley; a baby boy who was born sleeping; mother-in-law, Dorothy Palmer; as well as her beloved St Bernard, Katie.

Terri is survived by her loving husband, Warren Palmer; daughters, Heather Davis (Brett), Rebecca Crawley (Bubba), and Elizabeth Crawley (Dave); grandkids Megan and Hayley Davis, Connor Henry and Maddie Baysden; two special sisters, Linda Kinsell and Rita Crawley; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A chapel service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 10 a.m. Terri will be laid to rest following a private committal service at a later time. Rev. Tim Gearheart will be officiating.
