Michael Wayne Gardner

Michael Wayne Gardner, 75, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at his residence. He was born September 17, 1946, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Walter Jack Gardner and Cora Houston Gardner. He was a Jehovah’s Witness. Mr. Gardner collected trains, Star Trek, and Star Wars memorabilia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Betty McDowell.

He is survived by his wife, Laponda Day Gardner; daughters, Angela Keeler (Scott) and Michelle Gardner; sons Mark Gardner (Tabatha) and Scott Gardner; sister, Susan Gardner; three grandchildren, Christian Keeler, Noah Keeler and Allison Gardner; and eight great-grandchildren.
