Virginia White Gray Tyndall

Virginia White Gray Tyndall, 71, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born February 16, 1950, in Castlewood, Virginia, to the late Henry and Mary White. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School, Glade Spring, Virginia, and attended a Business school in Roanoke. She enjoyed going to the beach, country, bluegrass, and beach music, snow skiing, and loved visiting and boating at Smith Mountain Lake.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus Gray, Jr.; and siblings, Carson White, Lutie Wilcox, Clyde White, Raymond White, and Eugene White.

Virginia is survived by sisters, Nell Powers and Ruth Rogers (Creig); brother, Roger White (Nancy); special nieces, Denise Powers, Crystal Hutton, Brittany Fredrick, Angie White, Jessica White, Rhonda White, Cindy White and Janet Tuggle; special nephews, David Powers, Creig Rogers, Jr. and Christopher Rogers; six special grandnieces; four special grandnephews; stepsons, Thaddeus Gray, III (Mitsy) and Andy Gray; and step-grandchildren, Michael and Nick Gray.

The funeral service will be Friday, November 19, 2021, at 12:00 Noon at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.
