John "Jeff" Hutchinson

John “Jeff” Hutchinson, 54, of Salem, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021.

He was born in Beckley, WV, a son of the late Patricia Ann Hutchinson and David Lee Hutchinson, Sr. who survives, and had been an area resident for many years. He was a co-owner/operator of Valley Distributing Corp and had a passion for the beer industry which was unrivaled. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed riding motorcycles, smoking food on his barbeque, camping and spending time with family and friends. In addition to his mother, Jeff was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Jeffrey Hutchinson.

Along with his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Melinda Hutchinson; a son, Tyler Hutchinson and girlfriend, Melanie Mason; two brothers, Patrick Hutchinson and wife Erin, and David L. Hutchinson, Jr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Salem Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Tupper Garden will officiate.
