Johnny Chester Palmer

Johnny Chester Palmer, 85, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, November 26, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents, Chester M. Palmer and Kate Orander Palmer; sisters, Frances Simons, Mary Meador (Leo), and Ruby McDaniel; brothers, Charlie Palmer and Tommy Palmer, and daughter, Robin Allen.

Surviving family includes his loving wife of 47 years, Mary K. Palmer; sister, Kathy Boyd and husband, Bill; daughters, Kathy Clevenger of Los Vegas, NV, Debra Brown of Vinton, and Cindy Booth of Blue Ridge, VA, and other family members.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton with Pastor Terry Shaw officiating.
