Gerald A. Farris

Gerald A. Farris, 89, widower of Gladys McCullough Farris, went to be with the Lord and his wife of 68 years, Gladys, on Saturday, November 27, 2021. He was born in Callaway, VA and was the son of the late Robert and Bertha Farris. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Farris and Dave Farris.

He will be missed and remembered by his siblings, Nancy Logwood and Danny Farris; sister-in-law, Joyce Monast; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Troy Blankenship and his family for being wonderful neighbors and for all of their help.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Troy Mays officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
