Joey Randell "Randy" Gibson

JOEY RANDELL (“RANDY”) GIBSON, 67, of Bastian, VA, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his home. He was born January 1, 1954 in Bluefield, WV, the son of the late Marvin Albert & Ruth Elizabeth Ferguson Gibson.
Randy attended the Bastian Church of God. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He was an avid Virginia Tech Hokies fan and enjoyed watching Gunsmoke.
Besides his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy David Gibson and Larry Daniel Gibson, his in-laws, Larry & Shirley Kidd, and a very special friend, Aileen Havens.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 47 years, Terri Lynn Kidd Gibson; his daughter & son-in-law, Lisa Faith & Jason Robert Angove, of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Jacob Robert Angove and Jaxon Tyler Angove; his sister-in-law, Judy Hager Gibson; his special niece, Terry Gibson Fenwick; his special pet companion, “Buddy”, and several special cousins from Bluefield, WV and Lakeland, FL, a special aunt and many special neighbors and friends, too many to list.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00P.M. at the Bastian Church of God with Pastor Cliff Bowman officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Randy’s honor to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
