James "Clifford" Taylor

James “Clifford” Taylor, 76, of Reidsville, formally of Henry County, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Cone Health Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC.  He was born in Henry County on October 20, 1945 to the late James William Taylor and the late Lula Scott Taylor.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Welch Thomas.
Clifford is survived by his former wife Sarah Taylor three children, Delveta  Hylton, and husband Perry, James C. Taylor, Jr. and  Krystle  Alvarado Paz; one granddaughter, Keonna Carter; one great-grandchild, Legacy Carter; one sister, Patricia Wilson; five nieces; four nephews.
The family thanks each and every one for their thoughts and prayers during the loss of their loved one.  However, due Covid-19 safety concerns, the family will not receive visitation at personal residents. Cards can be mailed to or dropped off at the funeral home: P.O. Box 207, Bassett, VA 24055
Relatives and friends may stop by the funeral home, without the family present, on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM to view pictures and sign the register for Mr. Taylor.  For safety precautions, there will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.
Due to the governor’s requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the funeral home.
