Ralph Maurice "Redd" McIntyre

April 26, 1962 - November 29, 2021

Ralph "Redd" Maurice McIntyre, 59 of Bedford passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on Thursday, April 26, 1962 in Illinois, a son of the late Willard Maurice McIntyre and Shirley Marie Warnes McIntyre. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Denise Ray Wilson McIntyre, brother-in-law, Jim Cremeens and niece, Danielle McIntyre.

He grew up in Rossville, Illinois graduating from Rossville-Alvin High School and earned an Associate degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. He was Pastor at Radford Baptist Church in Children’s Ministry and Motorcycle Ministry and was a farrier to hundreds. He developed his servant nature as kitchen managers in several large chain restaurants such as Chili’s, Red Lobster, and Cracker Barrel to name a few.

He always had time to share the Gospel of Christ with anyone and praying over them. He was faithful in reading God’s Word and praying with Denise before she passed away in 2015. He enjoyed traveling with Denise during equestrian competition as well as trail riding, sportsman firearms, hunting and long rides on his motorcycle by himself and with others. He enjoyed cooking for others feeding all with nutrition and God’s Word.

He is survived by his brother, Steve (Kathy) McIntyre; sister, Gayle (McIntyre) Cremeens, Debbie (Wilson) Weisel; his nieces & nephews: Katie (McIntyre) Grayling, Mary (McIntyre) Wisnasky, Erika McIntyre, Olivia McIntyre, Melissa Musk Pelzman, Joseph Musk, Jon Lawrence; grand nieces & nephews, Grace McIntyre, Nicole Pelzman, Jacob Pelzman, Theodore Pelzman, William Musk, Waylon Musk, Willow Musk, Arya Lawrence, Lucy, Jane, Daniel & Margaret Wisnasky.

The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Children's Ministry Makeover, C/O Radford Baptist Church, P. O. Box 630, Moneta, VA 24121.

A funeral service will be held on at 2 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Radford Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hofheinz officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior and one hour after the service at the church.
