James Michael Karnes, 72, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Karnes; and mother, Beulah Woods.
James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anna Karnes; sons, Christopher Karnes, Joseph Karnes (Amanda), Matthew Karnes (Shanena), and Andrew Karnes; daughter, Rebecca Karnes; grandchildren, Christopher, Mirage, Nicholas, Hailey, Pyxle, Kayla, Emily, Caitlyn, Olivia, Wyatt, and Liam; brother, David Karnes; aunt, Felice Stone (Bob); and other relatives.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 4:00pm on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Simpson Funeral Home, with a Visitation one hour prior from 3:00-4:00pm.
