Lakeisha Ross

Lakeisha Ross, 39, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. She was born February 22, 1982, in Martinsville, to Peggy Ross Tyree and the late Richard L. Ross.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Otis Hundley.

Lakeisha was a graduate of Martinsville High School and attended Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, taking pictures, writing, and spending time with her children. She will always be remembered for having a heart of gold and was loved by everyone she met.

In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Taliyah Clark and Toni-Skye Phelps; grandparents; step-father, Robert Tyree; companion, Ira Martin; and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Carver Memorial Gardens, with Minister Britney Wells Smith officiating. A floating visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
