J. Wayne Kasperski
The gentle, generous, loving spirit of J. Wayne Kasperski slipped quietly into his Savior’s presence on December 29, 2022.
Born the only child of John J. and Mary Elizabeth Kasperski on March 1, 1949, in St. Louis, MO, Wayne was a classical pianist, a scholar, an educator, a model train enthusiast, and a lover of the Word of God which informed his life. He was, above all, a committed Christian.
Wayne leaves, waiting to join him one day, his wife, Brenda Waldron Kasperski, a host of treasured friends, and the Waldron family, whom he loved and who loved him in return.
Dr. Robert Stockburger and Pastor Sharon Wilburn will officiate a private family/close friends service due to Covid restrictions. Everyone is respectfully requested to wear a mask. The service will be at Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg, Virginia, on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 10:45 a.m. Serving the family as Pall Bearers will be Cole Snidow, Kelly Snidow, Rick Ballard, William Godsey, Ron McCall, and Paul Baker. In lieu of flowers, please consider The Slavic Gospel Association (https://www.sga.org/donation/general/) or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html). A guestbook is available at www.kendallfuneralhome.com for sharing condolences, or precious stories and memories of Wayne with the family. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Kasperski family.
