Curtis Lee Coleman

Curtis L. Coleman, 83, of Bassett, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 after a brief illness.  He was born on October 12, 1938 in McDowell County, West Virginia, to the late Robert D. Coleman and the late Cyrina Bowman Coleman.
He moved to Virginia in 1959 and became a lifelong carpenter, woodworker and jack of all trades.  He loved to dance, attending area Senior Dances and to dance the Waltz with all of his friends. 
Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mayme Coleman; daughters, Lovelle Anderson (Mike) and Amy Stanley (John); 1 brother, Marshall Coleman (Yvonne) of West Virginia; 1 sister, Ann Richards (Bud) of California; sister-in-law, Jeanie of California; 2 brothers-in-law, Sammy Young (Regena) and Marvin Young (Gloria); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a private family graveside service.
