Stephen Douglas "Doug" Young

Stephen Douglas "Doug" Young, age 37 of Callaway, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Doug is survived by his sons, Logan Dent and Ashton Young; mother, Michelle Gibson; father, Steve Young; sister, LeAnna Meador and her children whom he loved as his own, Jayda and Jarrieus; half-sister, Catlyn Yates (Jesse); half-brother, Lucas Young; grandmother, Betty Lou Walters; aunts, Lynette Young, Tonya Semones (Tim), and Kimberly Sifers (Sam); uncle, Randy Young. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members, friends and his family at Bridging the Gap at Franklin Heights Church.

Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 3 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, with Pastor Bobby Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Pigg River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home and all other times at the home of Doug's aunt, Lynette Young, 3467 Bonbrook Mill Road, Boones Mill, VA.
