Cynthia Gibson Moore

July 10, 1961 - January 15, 2022

Cynthia Moore, 60, of Axton, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at her home. She was born July 10, 1961, in Martinsville, to the late Aubrey Gibson and Ruby Jean Earls Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brittany Denise Moore.

She enjoyed spending time in the mountains. She loved the beach, attending bluegrass music festivals, camping, cooking, and flowers.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Tommy Moore; son, Bryan Sterling Moore; sisters, Vicky McCrickard (Roger) and Misty Dickson (Mike); and granddaughter, Madison Paige Hazlewood.

Floating Visitations will be Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM and Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
The graveside service will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Franklin Turnpike, Callands, Virginia, with Brother David Hatcher officiating.
