Joyce Marie Craddock

Joyce Marie Craddock, 82, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina. She was born August 16, 1939, in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, to the late Giles Cliborne and Agnes Cliborne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Craddock, Jr.; sisters, Agnes Hairston and Ruth Campbell; and step-grandchild, John T. Hawks.

She enjoyed spending her time knitting, and loved visiting with friends.

Joyce is survived by her son, Tony Craddock (Deborah); sister, Nancy Boswell; and grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Evans, Tonya Lynn Craddock and Charles Elton.

The funeral will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 11:30 AM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. A floating visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date.
