Paul M. Moon

Paul M. Moon, 89, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born September 28, 1932, in Athens, Georgia, to the late Holis Moon and Geneva Iris Moon.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army for two and a half years, and attended Shiloh Apostolic Temple where he loved serving the Lord and worshiping with his church family. He also enjoyed cooking, sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Paul is survived by his wife, Betty Kellam Moon; sons, Paul Moon Jr., Otis A. Kellam, and Victor K. Kellam; two grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The funeral will be Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 2:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Bishop James Millner officiating. A floating visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be private.
