Wayne "Arnold" Manning

Wayne “Arnold” Manning, 68, of Ridgeway passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. He was born in Martinsville on August 2, 1953 the son of the late George Arthur Manning and the late Lizzie Wells Manning. He was also preceded in death by a brother Roy Manning. He attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and worked in shipping and receiving at CSI.

He is survived by his loving wife Lynn Manning, two daughters and sons – in – law; Hilary and Jimmy Underwood and Heather and Clay Oakley, one grandson; Levi Underwood, four brothers; George “Jack” Manning, Stanley Manning, Ray Manning and Melvin Manning, one sister; Catherine Finney and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Wednesday January 26 from 1-2 p.m. in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service with funeral services to follow at 2:00 with Pastor Doug Ramsey and Jimmy Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Joyce family Cemetery.
