Patty Hendricks Walker

Patty Hendricks Walker, 92, of Collinsville, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born on December 23, 1929 in Vivian, WV to the late Floyd Hendricks, Sr. and the late Ona Elizabeth Williams Hendricks.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne C. Walker; sister, Mildred Hardee, Lucille Williams, Phyllis Tibbs and Florence Hendricks.
Patty is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Walker; brothers, James Hendricks (Eva) and Floyd Hendricks, Jr. and a sister, Sibby Turner.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Larry Cheek officiating.  Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park in Bassett.
Due to the governor’s requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.
