Lucy Mae Clifton Lawson

Lucy Mae Clifton Lawson, 87, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away February 24, 2022 at Rocky Mount Health and Rehab Center. She was born October 7, 1934, in Patrick Springs, Virginia to the late Samuel and Lillie Morrison Clifton. She loved shopping and going places with her sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lawson; a sister, Judy Dalton; brothers, Carlos Clifton and Lilburn Clifton.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Arden (Pete); sons Charles Leon Lawson (Lynn) and Roger Lawson (Joan); Sister, Gertrude Pendleton and ; brothers, Gilmer Clifton, Gene Clifton, Kenneth Clifton and Danny Clifton; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Case and Bradley Lawson.

A graveside service will be March 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Neil Pressley officiating the service. The family will receive friends for one half hour before the service in the chapel of Wright Funeral Service.
