Glenn Lambert Rivers

Glenn Lambert Rivers, 64, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home. He was born March 21, 1957, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Moir Glenn Rivers and Shirley Ann Beasley Rivers. He was a mechanic for over twenty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Rivers; and sister, Patricia Collins.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Lynn Belcher Rivers; daughter, Brittany Belcher; sons, Cody Rivers, David Belcher and Jonathan Rivers; grandchildren, Brook Rivers, Kiara Rivers, November Rivers, Memphis Rivers, Leon Belcher and Carter Belcher; and best friends, Mike Sink, Rodney Cox, and John Collins, and Tommy Turner.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Wright Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm in the chapel of Wright Funeral Service on Friday, March 4, 2022. Burial will be at the residence of Mr. Rivers.
