James Robert "Robbie" Fortner

James Robert “Robbie” Fortner, 52, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at his home. He was born April 11, 1969, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Larry Junior Fortner and Wanda Sue Fitzgerald Fortner. He enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Fortner.

He is survived by his sons, James Cody Fortner (Heather) and Matt Hodges; sisters, Mitzi Fortner and Melissa Semones (Chris); brothers, Blaine Fortner (Monica) and Gary Fortner (Amy) and grandson, Brantley Fortner.

A funeral will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 2:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Eugene Robertson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
