Coleman Lewis Hale


Coleman Lewis Hale, 73, of Ferrum, VA passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019. He was born April 25, 1946 the son of the late Posey Brown Hale and Cora Quinn Hale. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Woody, Joy Cassell, Barbara Hale; brother, Leonard Hale; two sons, Clayton Hale, Mark Hale. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Coleman Lee Hale and Jodie of Ferrum, VA; two daughters and son-in-law, Angela Jones and Linwood of Pelham, NC, Sheila Hale of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Dylan Hale, Jasmine Hale, Nehemiah Hale, Alison Hale, Dalin Jones, Sadie Jones; four sisters, Lovella Hooker, Mary Shively, Mittie Thornhill, Gladys Hale; four brothers, Otis Hale (Peggy), Willie Hale (Maribel), George Hale, J.R. Hale. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday at Lynch Conner Bowman Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in the Quinn Family Cemetery located next to Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
