James William Puckett

James William Puckett, 85, of Thaxton, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Newman Puckett; his parents, George & Hallie Wilson Puckett.

James served in the United States Air Force and retired from General Electric.

Surviving are his brothers, Lawrence Glenn Puckett & Robert Gene Puckett; step-sons, Larry W. Harris & wife, Patsy, Michael Harris & wife, Debbie & Danny Harris; step-daughters, Linda Davis & husband, David, Brenda Gardner & Angela Aitken; five step-grandchildren & eight step-great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, Roanoke. The family will receive friends from 8:30-10:20 a.m. on Friday at Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
