Barbara Ann Snow Collins

Ms. Barbara Ann Snow Collins, age 79, of Mount Airy passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at Central Continuing Care. She was born in Surry County on October 10, 1946, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Virginia Sturm Snow. She was retired from Brintle’s Truck Stop Restaurant, and she was a member of Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving is her son, Edward Lee Collins, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Steve Parker, brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Cathy Snow, Preston Hale Snow and Sandra White Snow and loved all her fur babies; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Morgan Snow and Bobby Lee Snow. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 4:00 at Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Holder officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is entrusted with her arrangements.
