Barbara Talbard Page

Barbara Talbard Page, 93, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on May 9, 1932 to the late Menla Hammock Talbard and the late James Talbard. She was married to her first husband, Wilson Davis until his passing, and later married Robert Page, who also predeceased her.

Barbara was of the Baptist Faith and a member of North Main Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a registered nurse in the medical field, previous to her retirement. She was a certified master gardener, volunteered at The Free Clinic, God’s Storehouse, The Science Museum, and was a Hospice Volunteer.

Barbara is survived by five daughters; Robin Haulsee of Mint Hill, NC, Deborah Capell of Black Mountain, NC, Connie Vaughan (Steve) of Chesterfield, VA, Patricia Clark (Ken) of Ooltewah, TN, and Janet Taylor (Steve) of Tobaccoville, NC; a son; Richard Davis (Denise) of Catlett, VA; a sister; Virginia Rice and family; twelve grandchildren; Page, Megan, Ryan, Eric, Keith, Curtis, Chris, Nick, Nathan, Joseph, Bailey, and Hamilton; and seventeen great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was predeceased by a daughter; Fran Jones; a grandson; Ben; four brothers; Thomas, Hughes, Ervin, and Edward Talbard; three sisters; Helen Guill, Minnie Lynch, and Dora Walton; and three sons-in-law; Larry Haulsee, Bill Capell, and Jimmie Jones.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Ken Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held just prior to the service on the same day from 1-2:00pm, also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
