Barry Glenn Messer, of Salem, passed away from complications of pneumonia on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was 65 years old.
He was predeceased by his mother, Betty Moore; 2 sisters, Sharon Howard & Terry Hickson; and by 2 brothers, Ricky Messer & Billy Messer.
Barry attended Glenvar Schools and worked in the gold mines in Nevada before returning to VA where he worked for Roanoke Cement Plant.
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and gambling in Vegas. Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Henry Criner (Tracy) and Jeff Criner (Terry); nieces, nephews, great-niece & great-nephews, & 3 great-great nieces.
There will be no Funeral services.
