Benjamin Brey

Benjamin Franklin Bray, 86 of Narrows, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at his home. Frank was born on November 22, 1939, in Frakes, KY and was a son of the late Elbert Lindsy Bray and Grace Hamblin Bray. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lenora Hall Bray and 9 siblings.

Frank worked for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI where he achieved his Instrumentation Degree and his electrical Journeyman’s card. From there, he started his career at Celanese, where he stayed until he retired. Frank loved working with all things electrical and mechanical. Frank will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Frank and Mary had four children together: Valerie, Jeffrey, Brian, and Karen. From those four children came nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

As per Frank’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
