Betty Jane Fisher Guilliams, age 90, of Callaway, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was born July 13, 1932 a daughter of the late Luther Milton, Sr. and Lula Prillaman Fisher. She was also predeceased by her husband, Bernard Lawrence (Pete) Guilliams, daughter, Pamela Guilliams Messenger, sisters, Blanche, Edith Paige and infants, Mary, Frances and Lena, brothers, Luther M., Jr. (L.M.), Grover W. Sr. (Bill), Jack P., Sr., Ralph, Howard L. (Sr) and infants, Henry and twin Bobby Joe, sisters-in-law, Rachel, Hazel, Loleine, Toni and Carrie, Sylvia Cooper and Barbara Guilliams, brothers-in-law, Jack Helms, Danny and Coy Guilliams, Lloyd Cooper, Don Carter, John Laprade and Noel Carter, father and mother-in-law, Roy and Altha Guilliams. She is survived by her son-in-law, Alan Messenger, brothers and sisters-in-law, Newton (Norma) Guilliams, Vera Laprade, Arlene Carter, Caroline Guilliams, Dot (James) Webb, Steve (Linda) Guilliams, Fred, Barry and Ronnie (Joyce) Guilliams along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and a special friend, Glenn Turman. Betsy was a member of Highland United Methodist Church in Callaway and was retired from the Franklin County School Board office. Her service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022, at Highland United Methodist Church at Callaway with Pastor Laurice Jones-Wilks and Rev. Cheryl Wade (niece) officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family respectfully requests no food.
