Betty Ruth Nealy Branscombe

Betty Ruth Nealy Branscombe, 90, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025. Betty was born in Lumberton, NC on April 17, 1934 to the late Willa Mae Lea Nealy and the late James Calvin Nealy. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Mr. William Eugene Branscombe.

Betty was of the Baptist Faith. She worked for many years as a nursing aide in the medical industry, previous to her retirement.

Betty is survived by a son; Roy Garner and wife Janet of Dry Fork, VA; four grandchildren; Jamie, Jennifer, Jeff, and Tammy; nine great grandchildren; Alex, Fallon, Baylee, Mallorie, Matthew, Kylee, Jona, Cameron, and Charlee; and four great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by sister; Edna Lacks.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 6, at 11:00am at Danville Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Daniel Custer officiating.
