Beulah Mae Carter Holland, 67, of Washington, Pennsylvania, transitioned on Monday, May 13, 2024. She was born June 18, 1956, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late James O. Carter and Lillie Watkins Carter.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchild, Jeremiah (PJ) Turner.Beulah Mae was a member of Spirit Lead Temple. She was a dedicated caretaker for over twenty years. She was not only a caretaker for adults but for people of all ages.She is survived by daughters, Victoria Hodge; stepdaughters, Valerie Simpson, April Kidd, and Sharmain Hairston; sons, Deundra Carter, and Lamar Carter; stepson, M.C. Thornton, Jr.; sister, Carolyn Carter; brothers, James O. Carter, Jr., and Julius L. Carter; grandchildren, Deundra Carter, Jr., Jayveon Morris, JerNyia Hodge, Jerry Hodge, Jr., Kali Carter, Honesti Irving, William Irving; and great grandchild, Krue Morris.The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Marvin Slade officiating. Burial will follow at Watkins Family Cemetery at 276 Cozy Lane, Axton, Virginia 24054.
