Beverly Hart Siegle

- November 21, 2022

Beverly Hart Siegle, 84 of Moneta, was called home to the Lord on November 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Carl, her parents Doris and Russell Hart and brother, Ralph Hart. She is survived by her two children Deborah Oare (Steve) of Moneta and Jeffery Siegle (Stacy) of Byron, Ga and granddaughters Julia Siegle of Germany and Morgan & Katelyn Brown Siegle of Byron Ga as well as 2 step-grandchildren & 5 step-great grandchildren in upstate NY.

Beverly, formally a lifelong resident of upstate NY moved to VA with her family in 2019. She left behind a large network of friends, busy social calendar, multiple flower gardens, church responsibilities, family activities and the latest craft she was going to class for.

She spent her childhood on the family farm in Mill Point, graduated and married in 1956 living in the Fonda - Johnstown NY area until her move to VA. Her last and longest job was as a physical & occupational therapy aide for elementary children at HFM BOSES in Johnstown NY. She loved her job, her kids & her co-workers and they loved her too. There were lots of laughs and tears when she retired.

She was an avid gardener and a long time active member of the Kingsboro Garden Club. She held multiple offices and won multiple design awards including Best Design 2013 at the Fonda Fair at which she was an exhibitor for over 50 years. She and her husband had been members of the Sagandaga Swingers for which she made all of her beautiful square dancing dresses and Carls matching ties. They had great dancing friends and loved playing practical jokes on each other. Laughs were had by all. She was a long time active member of the St Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Fonda NY serving on many committees, active in many groups, worked Bingo for many years and was just available for any church needs. She loved her pets having cows, horses, chicken, rabbits, koi & gold fish, dogs & cats over the years.

Bev lived a full and active life, too much to fit in to this small area.

Along with her children and grandchildren already mentioned, she leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves many wonderful memories behind with many long time friends that she cherished dearly. She will be missed by many.

Spring wake planned at Jackson & Betz Funeral Home in Fultonville, NY 518-853-4224
