Billy Jack Snow, 91, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Born September 26, 1935, in Surry County to the late William Virgil and Ora Johnson Snow. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carol Gay Pratt Snow; son and daughter-in-law, Billy “Dale” Snow and Beth Cockerham Snow; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Snow Reeves and Doug Reeves; grandchildren, Brad Easter (Tammy Payne), Jodi Mundy (Tim Mundy), Kandy Alvear (Mark Alvear Jr.), Josh Snow, Shea Carter (Devin Carter), and Kason Snow; great grandchildren, Chase Alvear (Savannah Gates), Bryice Alvear (Abigail Hicks), Tucker Smith, Tristan Day (Julia Haynes), Katie Alvear (Dante Collins), Emily Easter, Macean Alvear, Timber Mundy, Elizabeth Dearmin, Lilliam Dearmin, Taelynn Mundy, Knox Carter, Saylor Carter; great-great grandchildren, Mylah Lynn Collins, and Breyer Rae Alvear; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy Snow and Shirley Snow; and sister-in-law, Carol Edmonds Snow. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, David Snow; an infant snow, a brother, Jerry Snow; a sister, Sandra Collins; and 3 half-sisters, Virginia Kerley, Juanita Holst, and Jesse Elder.
